Meetings and Attendance

KEWL holds general membership meetings twice monthly, on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm and the fourth Friday of the month at 3:00pm. Meetings are almost always in the Women’s Resource Room (John W. Elrod University Commons - Room 216), though occasional exceptions do occur. KEWL members are required to attend at least one meeting per month, although full attendance is ideal.

If a member will be absent, she must e-mail her excuse to the secretary in advance.  Valid reasons to miss a meeting include illness, conflicting meetings with other organizations, and irreconcilable work conflicts.  Although academic excellence is important to KEWL, the meetings are short and, therefore, school work should not be used as a reason to miss meetings.
